I apologize to anyone who has visited this site in the last month. I've been a bit busy and taking a break from updating this website. For those of you who do not know a lot about me, I am a senior at a university studying Industrial & Systems Engineering. I also work a part time job while I study and look for post-graduation opportunities. Because of this, I have had to take a break as my workload increased. However, I am excited to say I'll be updating more often now. I'll also be trying to update this site once a week on the weekends. Anyway, thank you for understanding!
I am excited to announce that I will be updating this page with more frequency and adding new content to this page! So, the reviews will still be written Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. However, I will also be adding additional content such as:
- 2 new types of reviews
- Game announcements
- The latest gaming deals that are currently happening. (This will be added to another page)
- Interviews with independent developers and maybe larger developers later (This will also be another page)
- Video Reviews (This will probably be a project that I'll be working on for a few months)
That is all. Oh! Also, thanks to the people who read this because this website has officially reached over 1000 page views and over 100 followers on twitter! Thanks, guys!
Genres: Free-to-play, FPS
Price: Free on Steam (Thankfully)
...So, where should I even begin with this game? I know that traditionally speaking I go with a summary, then my take on it, the ratings, etc. However, this game is unique and it deserves its own style of writing dedicated solely to the complexities of UberStrike. So let's start off with:
Game: Cook, Serve, Delicious!
Genres: Simulation, Strategy
Platforms: PC, iOS, Android
Price: $9.99 (Steam), $4.99 (App Store), $3.99 (Play Store)
Cook, Serve, Delicious is a restaurant simulator that gives players the option to customize the restaurant’s food, equipment, chefs, etc. This game is truly an authentic restaurant simulator in every regard. There are even moments of the games where you have to stop serving customers in order to wash the dishes, clean the toilets, take out the trash, etc. (Thankfully, you’re always washing your hands afterwards…) Other core elements of the game also help add a sense of strategy as you must choose new and exciting additions to their menu in order to maintain buzz while balancing the difficulty of cooking each meal and the time required.
In case you missed E3 this year or simply couldn't keep up with all the announcements, don't worry I got you covered.
Here are some of the best announcements at E3 this year (in no particular order):
1. Fallout 4
Developer: Bethesda Game Studios
Platforms: PC, Xbox One, PS4
My first review is going to be on a little known indie game known as Gunpoint. Although it's been out for over 2 years now, many people have not picked up this game yet (and they should, but I'll get to that later).
Genres: Indie, Puzzle
Price on Steam: $9.99
